Jail Breaker Chips started with a simple belief: great snacks make everyday moments better.

Founder Jamie Mosely has spent more than 16 years working as a jailer, where he saw firsthand how small comforts, like a favorite snack, can make a meaningful difference. While every facility provides meals, it’s the simple treats many of us take for granted that can bring a sense of normalcy and connection to the outside world.

In 2021, that idea sparked something bigger. Jamie began developing a potato chip that could be sold through commissaries and eventually on retail shelves. Jail Breaker Chips became both a nod to his career and a brand built to stand on its own. Early demand helped fuel that vision, laying the groundwork for a brand designed to grow far beyond its origins.

At the heart is a flavor philosophy as intentional as its beginning. Our signature blend was designed to evolve as you eat it. Starting with a sweetness, moving into tangy, and finishing with a touch of heat. It delivers boldness without overpowering and complexity without fatigue.
